There’s something about the Fall. In Northern California the sun sits low in the sky, bathing the trees with warm beams of light that set the newly turned leaves ablaze with color. Long shadows of autumn stretch across the Bay Area’s rolling hills, bringing out a golden hue that makes me feel drunk. In New York, the city escapes the summer’s marathon of unrelenting humidity, and breathes a sigh of relief as cooler weather descends upon Manhattan. The sun sets over the Hudson, a giant of ball of red, peaking down the city’s streets to say hello as you walk the avenues. And in L.A… We’ll nothing happens in L.A., because there are no seasons in SoCal… Regardless of where you find yourself, Fall is the perfect time of year for tracks imbued with feeling and drenched in reverb.
